Apparently, Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are competing with each other to bag the part of the female lead in Rohit Shetty’s next action film opposite Shah Rukh Khan. But a member of Kareena’s entourage informs that Bebo is leading. “Rohit is good friends with Kareena after they worked together in Golmaal 3. Plus, SRK too enjoys working with her. And by the time Rohit’s film starts, SRK would still be busy working with Kat in Yash Chopra’s untitled film. So, in a bid to add that novelty factor, Kareena is likely to bag the part,” says the team member.
Rohit’s action film goes on the floors in May next year. Despite repeated calls and messages, Rohit remained unavailable for a comment. Rohit, for the uninitiated, was earlier planning to remake the 1982 comedy, Angoor, with SRK and had reportedly decided to cast Kareena in the same. After RA.One, Khan apparently decided to continue with the action genre, so Shetty dropped his plans and decided to make an action film, which will follow his last blockbuster, Singham.
